If I had to pick a title I’d go with Full stack developer with some Linux system admin. I guess I’m more what you’d call Devops but that’s a methodology. I can hold my own as developer so I consider myself more a hybrid of the roles.
My mindset is use what you have and what is already existing to build a solution and speed up development. Usually it’s easier to fill in missing pieces in a technology than to build it from scratch. For example my ideal architecture is loosely coupled solutions that can be changed out with relatively minimal effort. It’s surprisingly not that hard as long as you plan it from the start.
